This May SEBINS is raising awareness by taking a bite out of unhealthy workplace eating habits with The Chew. Amongst everybody’s busy schedules of work and family, one factor is commonly forgotten—Nutrition.
Maintaining proper eating habits in people is one of the best ways of adding years to their lives, reducing the amount of preventable sickness/illness and increasing productivity both at home and in the workplace.

- According to the National Health Care Statistics, the typical American diet is responsible for most of the preventable diseases, including 91% of diabetes, 82% of heart disease, and 71% of colon cancer.

- According to the Center for Disease Control, only 15% of adults engage in regular vigorous physical activity, and 60% report getting essentially no exercise whatsoever from a regular leisure activity.
- According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, an access to wellness programs has increased from 35% to 54% for public sector full-time workers; from 1999-2008 access increased from 19% to 28% for private sector full-time workers
